This 5-day Galapagos expedition aboard the Tip Top II Catamaran explores the central and eastern islands of the archipelago. Starting at Baltra Airport, cross to Santa Cruz Island and visit the Fausto Llerena Breeding Center, home of the giant tortoise conservation program. Discover Floreana's Baroness Viewing Point, Asilo de la Paz, historic Post Office Bay, Cormorant Point, and Champion Islet. Continue to Espanola Island for Suarez Point, with its waved albatrosses and dramatic blowhole, and the pristine beaches of Gardner Bay and Osborn Islet. Explore San Cristobal's Kicker Rock, Witch Hill, Lobos Island, and the Gianni Arismendy Interpretation Center. End with a panga ride through the mangrove channels of Black Turtle Cove before departing from Baltra. The Tip Top II is a comfortable first-class catamaran accommodating 16 guests.

DAY 1 – Monday

PM»Santa Cruz: Fausto Llerena Breeding Center
Your 5-day Galapagos adventure begins on Baltra Island. Upon landing at the airport, your guide will welcome you and transfer you to the Tip Top II Catamaran. In the afternoon, sail to Santa Cruz Island and visit the Fausto Llerena Breeding Center in Puerto Ayora, where you will learn about the giant tortoise conservation program and meet hatchlings and juveniles being raised for release into the wild.

Baroness Viewing Point
A scenic lookout honoring one of Floreana’s most colorful early settlers, offering sweeping views over the island’s bays and coastline.
Asilo de la Paz
A historic highland site with a natural freshwater spring and a giant tortoise reserve, linked to the caves where the island’s first colonists once lived.
Post Office Bay
Keep alive a centuries-old sailors’ tradition by leaving a postcard in the historic wooden barrel, unchanged since 1793.
Cormorant Point
Admire the green-sand beach tinted by olivine crystals and the flamingo-dotted lagoon behind it, then snorkel in the clear shallow waters.
Champion Islet
A prime snorkeling site where playful sea lions, colorful reef fish, and sea turtles swim around a small, bird-covered islet.

One of the archipelago’s finest wildlife sites, home to waved albatrosses, blue-footed and Nazca boobies, marine iguanas, and a dramatic ocean blowhole.
Gardner Bay / Gardner Islet
A long white-sand beach where sea lions rest in the sun and marine iguanas bask on the rocks, with excellent swimming and snorkeling.
Osborn Islet
A small islet off Gardner Bay with coral formations and rich snorkeling, where sea turtles, rays, and tropical fish are commonly seen.

Kicker Rock
Circle this towering volcanic rock formation by boat and snorkel its narrow channel, a habitat for sea lions, sea turtles, and reef sharks.
Witch Hill
Walk a powdery white-sand beach lined with endemic plants, home to sea lions, blue-footed boobies, and frigatebirds.
Lobos Island
A small islet named for its sea lion colony, with blue-footed boobies and frigatebirds nesting along the trail.
Gianni Arismendy Interpretation Center
Explore the natural and human history of the Galapagos through engaging exhibits before returning to Puerto Baquerizo Moreno.
DAY 5 – Friday
AM»Santa Cruz: Black Turtle Cove
PM»Baltra: Transfer to Baltra Airport
On your final morning, board a panga to drift through the calm mangrove channels of Black Turtle Cove, a sheltered nursery for green sea turtles, golden rays, and small reef sharks. Afterwards, transfer to Baltra Airport for your onward flight, ending your 5-day Galapagos adventure.

Tip Top II was built in 2008 and redesigned in 2015-2016 to offer the highest level of comfort and the best experience in the Islands.The Tip Top II Catamaran offers guests fantastic 3, 4, 7 or 14-night itineraries exploring the Galapagos Islands. All trips start from Baltra Island.
Aboard the Tip Top II Catamaran guests will find ample space to relax. The comfortable lounge has a flatscreen TV and AC, making it the perfect place to enjoy the cool air. For sun lovers the spacious sun deck has cushioned loungers and there is an outdoor lounge & bar which is a great place to take advantage of the sea breeze and enjoy a cool beer or glass of wine whilst discussing the days' events. The Tip Top II Catamaran accommodates just 16 guests in 10 cabins. Each cabin has a private bathroom (toilet, shower, washbasin and vanity), locker and drawers, hairdryer, safety box and is air-conditioned.
The 8 crew onboard includes a bi-lingual naturalist guide certified by the Galapagos National Park and a dedicated chef who will create mouthwatering Ecuadorian and international cuisine.
