DAY 1
AM» Arrival at Baltra airport – Transfer to boat
PM» Mosquera Islet

Home to Galapagos’ main airport, this will be the starting point of your experience aboard the best tour of the Galapagos Islands. A bilingual guide will meet you at the airport and assist you during the transfer onboard Golondrina Cruise. Welcome Ceremony, briefing session.

Mosquera Islet

After lunch, we visit Mosquera Islet, consisting of a reef of rocks and coral (the result of an uprising) and a great white sand beach, where a great colony of sea lions resides, and where you can also observe several species of shore birds. After this activity head back to the yacht for dinner.

DAY 2
AM» Isabela:  Vicente Roca Point
PM» Fernandina : Espinoza Point

Vicente Roca Point

After breakfast, start the morning with a visit to Vicente Roca Point (Isabela Island), this site is a large bay with a spectacular sea life. You will also have the opportunity to see penguins, blue footed boobies and Nazca boobies.

Espinoza Point

After lunch, we head to Espinoza Point on Fernandina Island, a site rich in wildlife, such as sea lions, penguins, flightless cormorants, crabs & herons, living in the native mangrove forest. This site is also home to one of the largest populations of marine iguanas in the Archipelago.

DAY 3
AM»: Isabela:  Urbina Bay
PM»: Isabela:  Tagus Cove

Urbina Bay

Early start at Urbina Bay, located on the west section of Isabela Island, at the foot of Alcedo Volcano. Walk through a 1 km path to observe a large colony of iguanas, Darwin’s finches and giant tortoises. After the walk, you may snorkel along the shoreline.

Tagus Cove

During the afternoon visit Tagus Cove, this used to be a place where whaling ships and buccaneers landed in the 1800s. Head back to the yacht and dinner.

DAY 4
AM» Egas Port
PM» Chinese Hat

Egas Port

First activity of the day will be a wet landing at James Bay, also known as Egas Port. An easy walk takes you to observe iguanas and sea lions along the coast line.

Chinese Hat

During the afternoon, head to Chinese Hat (Sombrero Chino), a volcanic cone that forms an islet off the rocky coast of Santiago, where a small colony of Galapagos penguins have settled. You may also see Galapagos sea lions and marine iguanas.

 

DAY 8
AM» Santa Cruz: Charles Darwin Station, Transfer from ship to Baltra airport

After breakfast we land at Santa Cruz Island, where you will visit the famous Charles Darwin Station, a non-profit institution that dedicates itself to studying and protecting the flora and fauna of the Galapagos. This is one of the best places to see land tortoises. After this activity you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight back to the continent.

The Golondrina I is a lovely motor yacht accommodating 16 passengers. Each of her eight double cabins has air-conditioning and a private bathroom. The common areas include a living room with TV, a dining room, a bar, and a solarium. Meals are prepared from local and fresh ingredients and served either in the dinning room or on deck. The chef is happy to accommodate special dietary needs or preferences if informed in advance. The boat also has full snorkeling equipment and wet suits available for rent upon request of each passenger
