DAY 1 – Monday
AM»San Cristobal: Arrival at San Cristobal airport – Transfer to Catamaran
PM»San Cristobal: Tijeretas Hill + Gianni Arismendy Interpretation Center
Your journey begins at San Cristobal airport in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, where your naturalist guide will welcome you and escort you to the Archipel I catamaran. After a welcome briefing and lunch on board, the adventure begins.
Tijeretas Hill
A short trail climbs to the top of Tijeretas Hill, one of the few places where you can watch magnificent frigatebirds nesting close to the path. From the viewpoint you get a sweeping panorama of the bay of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, with Kicker Rock on the horizon.
Gianni Arismendy Interpretation Center
This modern center walks you through the natural and human history of the Galapagos Islands, from their volcanic origins to the conservation work that protects them today. Its exhibits set the perfect context for the days ahead.
DAY 2 – Tuesday

Santa Fe Island
Santa Fe is home to one of the most beautiful bays in the archipelago, guarded by a large sea lion colony. A trail through the island’s giant prickly-pear cactus forest brings you face to face with the endemic Santa Fe land iguana, found nowhere else on Earth. Snorkeling here often means swimming with playful sea lions, rays and reef fish.
South Plaza Island
South Plaza is one of the smallest yet most wildlife-packed islands in Galapagos. Land iguanas bask among bright red sesuvium plants while sea lions rest along the rocky shore, and red-billed tropicbirds and swallow-tailed gulls soar past the cliffs on the southern side of the island.

North Seymour Island
North Seymour is a superb introduction to Galapagos birdlife. Along the trail you will find magnificent frigatebirds inflating their red throat pouches, blue-footed boobies performing their courtship dance, and Galapagos land iguanas wandering through the low vegetation.
Chinese Hat Islet
This tiny volcanic cone off the coast of Santiago, named for its unmistakable shape, is surrounded by striking lava formations. A short walk reveals sea lions, marine iguanas and lava lizards, while the channel between the islet and Santiago is a great snorkeling spot where penguins and reef sharks are often seen.
DAY 4 – Thursday
AM»Santa Cruz: Santa Cruz Highlands – Transfer from Yacht to Baltra airport
Santa Cruz Highlands
On your final morning you travel into the lush highlands of Santa Cruz to the rim of the Twin Craters, collapsed magma chambers draped in Scalesia forest. Then visit El Chato reserve, where giant tortoises roam freely in their natural habitat – a fitting farewell to the islands. After the visit you will be transferred to Baltra airport for your flight back to the mainland.

ARCHIPEL I Catamaran
The Archipel I offers space and comfort; the stability and speed make this catamaran a perfect partner for the adventure of discovering the Galapagos Islands. This catamaran has 6 cabins (Twins and matrimonial) all in main deck. and 2 cabins with matrimonial beds. All of the cabins have private bathrooms, hot water and air-conditioning. The Archipel I also has a comfortable dining room, TV, DVD, stereo, library, an indoor bar, a bar on the upper deck and a spacious tanning deck with reclining chairs. In addition, all cabins are located on the main deck with an outside view. The boat also has a complete crew including a naturalist guide level III, who has been trained and licensed by the Galapagos National Park at the Charles Darwin Research Station.
